Details appreciated. How much will it cost to replace the timing belt on a 2003 Honda Accord? ?If you have the 3L V6, you have both an %26quot;interference%26quot; engine ($$$ if belt breaks) and a timing belt driven water pump that should be replaced at the same time along with the belt idler and tensioner pulleys for a total cost of $850. If you keep the car, you can't afford not to do it.

Honda suggests change of the belt at 100k. That means that it should have been change before 100k.replace the timing Components and water pump. Do it today.

$600-$800
Honda dealer can provide the flat rate charge for doing the belt.

They typically suggest changing the water pump while the t-belt is being changed as it is in the same location as the belt.

If you change your engine coolant every 35k miles as recommended by Honda then you can omit the water pump.

The tension er is good for 200k miles easily as well.

You do NOT need to change any other seals or gaskets when having this done as the valve cover gasket can be re-used.

I have done many honda timing belts, takes about 2 hours max.
