New battery, new radiator, and also new catlytic convertic. Great condition. About 148K on it. Timing belt, trans, alternator and everything have been checked. I even got the oil changed lol. How much is my car worth?
Ok I want to sell my car as it's to small for myself and family.
It's a T reg 99 vauxhall astra 1.4
16v ls 5dr green. has m.o.t untill november and tax untill
April 09.
I'v only owned this car for just under a year and have just spent
out to have the head gasket changed timing belt oil change and so
fourth. Also it's had a new wiper motor.
It's done 124493 total miles.
I've done no damage to it at all there is the scuff marks you'd get
with a car this age also theres a small dent in the rear bumper and a
crack on the rear light culster.
How much would it be worth to sell private or to part ex?
Only answer if your from the u.k and really know what your talking about.

Timing belt on a 1997 Mazda MPV?
I just spoke with Kendall Mazda service rep. to see how much it cost to replace the timing belt and he told me that the timing belt is metal and does not need replacing as long as I do regular oil changes. The info is in your owners manual maintenance schedule. You don't have to worry about the chain until it's making quite a racket. You'll hear it if and when it happens.

It is built a lot like a geo. You will fill all the bumps and here allot of noise. BUT!!! They are a blast to drive. There is not allot of them on the road so we always are getting asked what it is. If you can work on it yourself, Its not to bad to have one. I have rebuilt most of the car to make sure it is very reliable. Parts are not real easy to get but with the right people helping you its not to bad. I did alot of running to the wrecking yard. We bought one for under $1,000. But put much more into it. They blue book and sell on eBay for around 3,000 or more. Email us if you have any more questions or need some Pics and Ideas. Voooooooooom. I have a '97 X-90 and, knowing the capabilities of the vehicle, it is a really fun, reliable and economical little car. The critics compare(d) it to other cars and that's where they went wrong. The car is unique. The frame is as strong as a mini truck frame; the engine is bullet proof; the transmission could haul down a building; the electronics are good; the suspension(given its wheel base) is solid -- there is nothing wrong with this car. I cruise mine on the highway at 72-75 miles an hour and, unless its raining, with the T-tops off. But, knowing its limits is necessary. With almost no weight on the rear wheels drive in 4-wheel configuration in snow or any slippery conditions. Be aware of the car's weight in cross winds and stay away from the big trucks. Because of the engine's size keep the RPMs over 2500 in any gear and its as capable as any other 4 cylinder engine. If you need any other infomation just write me a note and let me know. but for peace of mind, you could have it replaced,60,000 is a good time to change , they break shortly afteryour a lucky man, they shoul be changed at 36,ooo miles36 is not correct, that for CVH, your zetec should have one around 65-70k or every 5 years.
personally i'd get it changed for piece of mind along with the tensioner.its time to change it now as for a price you dont give enough information such as engine size, type cvh or zetec.in most cases yes, it's time to do it. they aren't valve benders so it's not mandatory.
